I’ve never done a blog before, so this is all new to me. I will be doing a lot of venting at first. I have a lot going on. Nothing like fun activities. Nope. Since I’ve started down that road, I may as well go all the way.
I am 54 years old.
A college student at Western Oregon University.
I have been overweight just about all my life.
My other health problems are: migraine headaches, a heart murmur and a-fib, kneecaps that slip out of place often, depression, allergies to most vegtables and fruits, environmental allergies, bad spelling, and ,,,, I’m sure there’s something else, but I can’t think of it right now.
I was literally born and raised in San Jose, but then there’s not that many people who are familliar with that song these days. (“Do You Know the Way to San Jose”) I lived in San Jose until the fall of 2005 when I moved with my mother to Salem, Oregon. I was sharing a house with her in west San Jose when she chose to retire and move to Oregon where her sister, my aunt, of course, was living. Oregon doesn’t have the earthquakes that California has, but there are four volcanoes that can been seen from Salem on a really clear day. (Most of the time, I usually see only two: Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson)
I don’t know if I will be going to school this fall. I have been denied financial aid because I have too many credits. Most of those credits came from Chemeketa Community College when I tried to get a certificate in Health Information Management. I had to quit that program because of my knees and other problems. But you can’t delete credits. If I could, I would not have a problem at WOU and financial aid. I have appealed, but I have a feeling that they won’t see things my way.
That’s enough for today. I’ll try to remember to get back here tomorrow.
